HTC Email Confirms M9 Orders Ship Starting 3/30

On Friday afternoon I wrote an article on the backorder emails sent to all of us that ordered the developer edition of the M9 on 3/27. In my article on Friday I criticized HTC’s lack of information about the shipping process and whether or not the backorder emails were legitimate. Earlier this evening all of us here at High on Android received another email from HTC apologizing for the lack of communication:

It looks like everyone who ordered an M9 on Friday 3/27 will begin receiving tracking information starting tomorrow. This will hopefully put all of you at easy that were worried about not receiving your phone until after carrier’s begin selling them in stores on April 10. While HTC is definitely getting the M9 orders out this week, some have already began receiving their S6/S6 Edge tracking information, including our own Max Lee. This week should be a lot of fun for all of us that love to get High on Android! Stay tuned to our news feed on Twitter for tons more coverage on the M9 and S6 series. "I am currently a researcher and Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University. I fell in love with Android with the Nexus One release and realized that it was superior to iOS in all the ways I care about. I still use a Mac (and an iPhone for the camera), but my Apple tech products pale in comparison to my number of Android devices (watches, tablets, and phones). When I’m not rooting/modding one of my many Android phones or doing math/programming, you can find me taking in Phoenix Suns/Arizona Diamondbacks games in downtown Phoenix, and drinking good beer!"
