LG Posts New Teaser for G4 QHD Screen: Bring On April 28th!

The hype machine for the new LG G4 is in full swing. Over the weekend we saw the phone in all its naked glory when @evleaks uncovered a micro-site LG reserved for G4 promotional pictures. We were able to grab several shots of the device before the site was taken down. This evening LG is back with another teaser video for the G4, urging everyone to “see the great, feel the great” on the G4. The video focusses on the improved QHD screen that LG will feature in the upcoming flagship. We already reported earlier that the G4 will feature a new QHD screen with a 20% wider color gamut, the video claims the screen will also be 25% brighter. LG says that not all QHD screens are the same, we will find out soon enough!

This new teaser video is the follow up to the first teaser (above) that boasted the new f/1.8 sensor on the G4 camera, with 80% more light entering the camera compared to the G3. The camera is also confirmed to be a 16 MP shooter. We are all very excited here to see the phone unveiled and find out pricing/availability on April 28 when LG takes the stage at their simultaneous worldwide event. Stay here for more great G4 coverage, are you feelin’ the look/specs on this phone as much as we are?

I fell in love with Android with the Nexus One release and realized that it was superior to iOS in all the ways I care about. I still use a Mac (and an iPhone for the camera), but my Apple tech products pale in comparison to my number of Android devices (watches, tablets, and phones). When I’m not rooting/modding one of my many Android phones or doing math/programming, you can find me taking in Phoenix Suns/Arizona Diamondbacks games in downtown Phoenix, and drinking good beer!"
