LG Officially Unveils the G4 On Facebook

Last weekend we brought you several leaked pictures of the upcoming LG G4, obtained via a LG created micro-site uncovered by @evleaks. It seems that all of those pictures were accurate depictions of the G4 as LG has taken to their Facebook to post some official photos of the G4. The marketing photo above showing a woman holding the leather clad G4 is the same one shown off in the leaked photos during the weekend. This official photo posted by LG is from a slightly different angle than the one posted on the microsite. We did learn one new thing about the G4, LG comments “Always have authentic luxury in hand. The brand new LG G4 with vegetable-tanned leather cover. See the great, feel the great.” Apparently that beautiful back cover is vegetable-tanned leather, not just regular leather, so you know its especially good!

LG will take to the stage on April 28 to unveil the G4 at a simultaneous worldwide event. We expect the phone to come with a new QHD display with wider color gamut and 25% brighter than the panel on the G3. We also expect 3 GB of RAM, Snapdragon 808 or 810, and a f/1.8 16 MP camera on this beast of a phone. We will have all of the coverage on launch day some come back here to HOA to get your breaking G4 news!  Check out the other two photos LG posted on their Facebook below.

I fell in love with Android with the Nexus One release and realized that it was superior to iOS in all the ways I care about. I still use a Mac (and an iPhone for the camera), but my Apple tech products pale in comparison to my number of Android devices (watches, tablets, and phones). When I’m not rooting/modding one of my many Android phones or doing math/programming, you can find me taking in Phoenix Suns/Arizona Diamondbacks games in downtown Phoenix, and drinking good beer!"
