Those of you that own a Galaxy Note 4 on T-mobile have been waiting a long time for Lollipop on your phone. The Note 4 Lollipop updates have rolled out on all other carriers, including Verizon, but the T-Mobile Note 4 has been stuck in Kit-Kat purgatory. Yesterday T-Mobile’s product expert Des announced on Twitter that the Lollipop update has been given the green light:
This just in!!! Technical Acceptance on #Note4 Lollipop software update achieved! Should start to rollout next week! Woot woot!

Apparently the OTA rollout should begin sometime next week, so if you’ve been looking forward to some material design goodness, you won’t be waiting long! It is worth keeping in mind that this update is just Lollipop, and not the new and improved Touchwiz that appears on the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge models. There have been some bugs experienced by Lollipop users of the Note 4 on other carriers, so hopefully T-Mobile has used their extra time to fix any lingering issues. If you want to check the status of this software update, or an update for any T-Mobile phone you own, check out the T-Mobile Software Update Page. Hope everyone is having a HOA weekend!
