There has been speculation for awhile that LG will release another flagship phone before the end of 2015. The LG G4 was just released in the US in the past few weeks and continues an international rollout. Previous rumors suggested that LG might release an even bigger phone in the fall to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Note 5. New information suggests that LG will release the G4 Pro in October with a metal body.
This recent leak comes to us from the social media site Weibo. The G4 Pro will reportedly feature a 5.8″ QHD screen with a Snapdragon 820 and 4GB of RAM, with an option for 32 GB or 64GB of on-board storage. The most interesting spec listed is a 27 MP camera on the back of the phone! In addition, a reported 8 MP front camera will be included for selfies. If all these specs are packed into a sexy all-metal body, this phone could give the Note 5 a run for its money. One place that the Note 5 differentiates itself is in the S-Pen, it will be interesting to see if LG decides to include a stylus of any sort on this G4 Pro. These specs are certainly not confirmed, but we’ll bring you any additional leaks on this phone as we head toward October!
