Next Tuesday Motorola is hosting an event to unveil some new products. We already have the invites, so we’re definitely getting something new. Many in the Android community believe that Motorola is only bringing the Moto G to the event. Those that are more hopeful, like myself, are expecting to see the new Moto G, Moto X, and maybe even a new Moto 360? Maybe expect is a strong word, but one can dream. Today a new picture surfaced on Google+ that claims to reveal the front of the new Moto X. The photo was posted by a guy named Paul Faz. It doesn’t appear that Faz has any obvious connections to Motorola, but he does mention the front-facing flash on the new Moto X.

Other than the picture and front-facing flash detail, Faz mentions that the screen size is 5.5″ and there may be an additional 5.2″ device called the Moto X Sport on the way as well. The phone actually looks really nice in this picture-a tiny bezel, front-facing speakers, and what appears to be a metal frame on the outside. I would be pretty happy if this is the real face of the Moto X. Hopefully we get stereo speakers on the front this time. What does everyone think? Is this the real deal Moto X? Would you be happy if this is the front of the device? Sound off in the comments!

I fell in love with Android with the Nexus One release and realized that it was superior to iOS in all the ways I care about. I still use a Mac (and an iPhone for the camera), but my Apple tech products pale in comparison to my number of Android devices (watches, tablets, and phones). When I’m not rooting/modding one of my many Android phones or doing math/programming, you can find me taking in Phoenix Suns/Arizona Diamondbacks games in downtown Phoenix, and drinking good beer!"
