Huawei Watch unboxing photos leak

Huawei-Watch

The Huawei Watch was originally unveiled way back on March 1. Since then we’ve been left with very little information about the upcoming device. One thing we do know is that the watch is one sexy round watch. In my opinion the Huawei Watch looks even more sleek than the Moto 360. A few weeks ago we noticed that the device passed through the FCC, leaving us to wonder if it is coming sooner than anticipated.

Today we have some more good news as shots of the full retail packaging have leaked online. Not only do we have the packaging, but there appears to be a fully operational Huawei Watch inside! The packaging looks luxurious, more like a Tissot or Tag Heuer box than the packaging for the Moto 360 or ASUS ZenWatch. It is pretty clear that Huawei wants to make a splash with their first Android Wear device. Going with a premium experience is never a bad idea, as evidenced by the impressive sales of the Apple Watch (booooo…I know). The Huawei Watch is still expected to hit the market in September or October, but we are hopeful that the recent leaks mean an accelerated launch scheduled. As soon as pricing and availability are announced we’ll have all the details for you right here at HOA News! Who out there is interested in one of these beauties? "I am currently a researcher and Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University. I fell in love with Android with the Nexus One release and realized that it was superior to iOS in all the ways I care about. I still use a Mac (and an iPhone for the camera), but my Apple tech products pale in comparison to my number of Android devices (watches, tablets, and phones). When I’m not rooting/modding one of my many Android phones or doing math/programming, you can find me taking in Phoenix Suns/Arizona Diamondbacks games in downtown Phoenix, and drinking good beer!"
