There have been plenty of 3rd generation Moto G and Mot0 X leaks recently. Motorola already has an event scheduled for July 28. Everyone expects the Moto G will be unveiled, but what about the Moto X? The newest leak is from HelloMotoHK’s Google+ page. The post labelled the device as “X³”, evidently referencing the 3rd generation of the Moto X device.

The picture shows a gold metallic frame with a white back. This is definitely a new look for the Moto X, but it looks very sleek and elegant in my opinion. We can also make out the signature Motorola dimple with the camera housing included as well. The picture doesn’t really show anything else, but it seems safe to assume that gold metallic will be a new option on Moto Maker in 2015. From the leaks yesterday we now expect a 5.5″ display on the 2015 Moto X, making it quite a big larger than the original Moto X. There are sure to be plenty of angry users that still want a smaller phone, but that is simply not the smartphone trend in 2015. Hopefully Motorola will bless us with the Moto X unveil on July 28, if they don’t do it soon the leaks might steal all of their thunder! Anyone interested in a gold Moto X this year?

I fell in love with Android with the Nexus One release and realized that it was superior to iOS in all the ways I care about. I still use a Mac (and an iPhone for the camera), but my Apple tech products pale in comparison to my number of Android devices (watches, tablets, and phones). When I’m not rooting/modding one of my many Android phones or doing math/programming, you can find me taking in Phoenix Suns/Arizona Diamondbacks games in downtown Phoenix, and drinking good beer!"
