More Moto X specs leak out: Huge 3,600 mAh battery!

Motorola is hosting their big event tomorrow, July 28. So far we’ve seen numerous leaks of the new Moto G, that phone is a sure thing for tomorrow’s event. The Moto X has popped up a few times, but not nearly as much as we’d like. Many believe the Moto X might not make it to tomorrow’s event, but I certainly hope it does. Today HelloMotoHK reported on the full rumored spec list for the upcoming 3rd generation Moto X.

According to a post on G+ this morning, the new Moto X (3rd gen) will sport a 5.5-inch FHD display (1080p), 21MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, microSD slot, Android 5.1.1, Snapdragon 808, and a giant 3600mAh battery. The battery size alone is noteworthy. If the screen is indeed FHD with a huge battery, we should get at least a full two days of battery life of the new Moto X. All of these specs along with the beautiful new champagne gold Moto Maker option leave me incredibly excited to see Motorola’s new flagship. Hopefully Motorola will bring all of their new devices to tomorrow’s event and not leave us waiting. The Motorola event tomorrow begins at 9 AM ET/6 AM Pacific. We’ll have all the information from the event here at HOA News so check back often throughout the day tomorrow!

"I am currently a researcher and Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University. I fell in love with Android with the Nexus One release and realized that it was superior to iOS in all the ways I care about. I still use a Mac (and an iPhone for the camera), but my Apple tech products pale in comparison to my number of Android devices (watches, tablets, and phones). When I’m not rooting/modding one of my many Android phones or doing math/programming, you can find me taking in Phoenix Suns/Arizona Diamondbacks games in downtown Phoenix, and drinking good beer!"
