The Axon Pro by ZTE is finally here. This phone is ZTE’s attempt at entering the high end flagship market. The up and coming OEM is looking to prove that they are not just about cheap handsets. The hype ads for this phone didn’t even include the “ZTE” branding because the marketing team didn’t want people to automatically associate this phone with other cheaper ZTE products. The Axon Pro is still a bit cheaper than other comparable flagships on the market so you can still save some money here.
The camera features some pretty great specs for this price point. It features a dual lens camera with 13mp and 2mp sensors which are used for super fast auto focus. The rear camera shoots video in 4k. There is also a selfie mode that auto snaps pictures when you smile. Other specs include 4GB of ram, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core cpu, 5.5″ QuadHD display, 3,000 mah battery, and will ship with Android 5.1 preinstalled.
The phone can be purchased now for $449.98 at one of four locations. You can grab this device at Amazon, Newegg, Ebay, or ZTE’s webstore. The phone also comes with a 2 year warranty and a free set of JBL earbuds valued at $49. Hopefully phones like this and the OnePlus 2 will force larger OEMs to offer their flagships at a lower price to compete.
