It looks like the launch of the much anticipated Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge + is nearly upon us. We know the unpacked event will be where Samsung announces these high end devices, but we are used to seeing Samsung announce devices followed by a slow world wide rollout. So where as we see a phone “unpacked” one day it normally takes several weeks to actually have the device in our hands. It appears that Samsung may be trying to get this device out as fast as possible.
Today a Sprint poster leaked out showing a promotion for the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus. The deal that sprint is running allows you to trade in a “working” phone for a $200 credit towards either of these devices. I have several old chinese phones worth nothing I wonder if they will take those too? The poster also mentions that you can grab a FREE Galaxy Tab 4. Both offers seem a bit too good to be true until you notice there is fine print under each offer. To get the Tab 4 you need to sign a 2 year contract.
The biggest bit of intel that the poster contains is the date of August 27th which is when this promotion expires. Tomorrow is the 13th so that leaves only 14 days from tomorrow to take advantage of this offer. This makes you wonder if maybe they are planning to start selling the phone tomorrow following the announcement.
