Now that the OnePlus 2, Moto X, Note 5 and S6 Edge+ are official we’re all turning our attention toward the fall 2015 Nexus launch. At this point it seems clear we will get two Nexus phones in 2015-a 5.7″ phablet from Huawei, and a smaller 5.2″ device from LG. Thus far we have not seen any solid leaks for either device, just some speculation and blurry renders. Today we get some more speculation on the overall shape of the phone courtesy of some renders from uSwitch.
The renders seen here are created based on the schematics that have leaked from various case makers. Whenever a new device is in development case manufacturers receive early schematics for proper placement of button cutouts and power ports. The renders are NOT the actual phone, but it does give us an idea of the where the various ports, speakers, and camera cutouts will be located on the device. Some of the features look similar to what we’ve seen and heard previously, including a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and front-facing stereo speakers. Overall it looks like a pretty nice render.
The overall build and quality of the phone won’t be known until we get some leaks with hands-on time or official renders. Check out the gallery below and let me know what you think of the overall shape of the device in the comments!
