This morning Lenovo posted the following event invite on their official Weibo page:

Clearly this is an invite to the official unveiling of the 2nd generation Moto 360 we’ve seen leaked all over the internet in the past few weeks. We see the new 2 o’clock position for the crown in the picture, but Lenovo has concealed the bottom of the device to make us wait for confirmation of the black bar or “flat tire.” We already heard that the new Moto 360 should be part of the IFA festivities later this week, but perhaps Lenovo is waiting until September 8 to give full pricing and availability to the public. In any event, we should know everything about the device soon. I’m not particularly hyped on this new wearable just yet. Hopefully Lenovo and Motorola give us some reasons to be excited at this September 8 event.
