Nexus 5X and 6P Official Specs Round Up!

2100

Since Google officially took the wraps off the Nexus 5X and 6P this morning, we thought it was appropriate to give a full list of the official specs. We certainly saw a lot of leaks for these phones, but take a look at the official listing below from Google. A few obvious omissions on the official list are wireless charging and NFC. While NFC isn’t explicitly listed, I think it is safe to assume the phone will have Android Pay support given Google’s heavy promotion of the service in the event today. Wireless charging very well may be absent, but given the inclusion in so many other Android phones I am still hopeful we might get a surprise. So, who preordered today? Which phone did you go for? Wanna tell us why? Get the debate started in the comments or hit me up on Twitter!

"I am currently a researcher and Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University. I fell in love with Android with the Nexus One release and realized that it was superior to iOS in all the ways I care about. I still use a Mac (and an iPhone for the camera), but my Apple tech products pale in comparison to my number of Android devices (watches, tablets, and phones). When I’m not rooting/modding one of my many Android phones or doing math/programming, you can find me taking in Phoenix Suns/Arizona Diamondbacks games in downtown Phoenix, and drinking good beer!"
