If you wanted something unique LG seems to be bringing something to the table. Samsung has its curved screens, and now LG will have dual screens. Images leaked show off a “ticker” style display that will be above the primary 5.7″ QHD display. This secondary display will be a place to have quick access to apps like the camera, contacts, dialer, and more. Other than quick access to apps we aren’t sure what other functionality this second display might offer.
Other than the second display the LG V10 is expected to include a 16mp rear camera, 3GB of ram, 16GB of expandable storage, and a fingerprint scanner. The images show a rear power button and volume rocker like what we have seen on previous LG devices. The power button resembles what we saw yesterday with the Nexus device fingerprint scanners. The announcement is scheduled for October 1st which is tomorrow so it won’t be long until we know for sure what that second display is all about.
