HOA Sunday Summary: Mmmm Marshmallow!

This past week definitely slowed down from the lightning fast pace of Nexus week, but that doesn’t mean there was no excitement to be had. At the beginning of the week Google dropped the Marshmallow image files online for flashing and began rolling out OTAs to current Nexus devices soon afterward. In addition to the Marshmallow excitement, Max and I both posted our full review of the OnePlus 2. Speaking of OnePlus, it appears we might get the rumored OnePlus 2 Mini device sooner rather than later as a similar device just went through the FCC. Verizon also dropped some good news by letting us know they will soon roll out a software update to bring Samsung Pay support to their eligible devices. If you haven’t flashed Marshmallow yet, check out our tutorial videos below, if you already have, sit back and enjoy the rest of our exciting coverage over the past week:

Definitely be sure to enter the Big Android Giveaway announced in the videos above by Shane and Max, there are a lot of great prizes to be had! Also stay tuned for another giveaway later this month to celebrate my 5K subscriber milestone over on Youtube. This upcoming week should be pretty exciting as my Xperia Z5 will arrive tomorrow and I expect to roll out a full review of the Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus! As usual, keep it locked to HOA News for the best breaking coverage all week!

"I am currently a researcher and Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University. I fell in love with Android with the Nexus One release and realized that it was superior to iOS in all the ways I care about. I still use a Mac (and an iPhone for the camera), but my Apple tech products pale in comparison to my number of Android devices (watches, tablets, and phones). When I’m not rooting/modding one of my many Android phones or doing math/programming, you can find me taking in Phoenix Suns/Arizona Diamondbacks games in downtown Phoenix, and drinking good beer!"
