Who doesn’t love a great deal? Even better, a great Android deal? We know it’s almost time to settle in for a day of family tomorrow, but use a bit of your time tonight to plot your assault on Black Friday deals! We already highlighted some of the best deals from HTC’s upcoming Black Friday sales, so be sure to check out that post if you’re in the market for an HTC phone or RE camera on the cheap.

Wireless carriers are getting in on the Black Friday act this year too. Verizon offered a few freebies for the holidays including a free $5 iTunes card that is currently sold out. If you’re currently on their wireless service you can login to your Verizon account online to pick up a few extra GBs of data for the next few months, not an amazing deal, but it is free after all! T-Mobile followed suit with a similar deal that gives current customers unlimited LTE data for the next 3 months. That sounds like a great deal, but you need to use up all of the data in your data stash before the unlimited data kicks in.

Google is also offering some excellent deals on apps, movies, music, and games in the play store for Cyber Monday. Select titles are on sale for 70% off, with several popular games from Square Enix on sale for 50% off like Final Fantasy V and Dragon Quest IV. Other games on sale include Leo’s Fortune, Duck Tales: Remastered, and Grim Fandango Remastered. Several apps, magazines, movies and albums are also on sale for a nice discount, you can head over and check out the details at the Google Play CyberWeekend page! There are also several games for the NVIDIA Shield tablet and Android TV console currently discounted by 50%, titles for this promotion include Doom 3, the Half-Life 2 games, and Portal.

"I am currently a researcher and Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University. I fell in love with Android with the Nexus One release and realized that it was superior to iOS in all the ways I care about. I still use a Mac (and an iPhone for the camera), but my Apple tech products pale in comparison to my number of Android devices (watches, tablets, and phones). When I’m not rooting/modding one of my many Android phones or doing math/programming, you can find me taking in Phoenix Suns/Arizona Diamondbacks games in downtown Phoenix, and drinking good beer!"
