Nexus 6P Coming to Best Buy+Gold Model coming to US

Earlier today, 9to5Google posted a reported claiming that Best Buy will soon begin sales of the Nexus 6P in their physical retail stores across the US. Just a short time ago Best Buy began sales of the Nexus 5X. Availability in store is great for those looking to touch the device and use it in-hand before making a final purchasing decision.

One thing we know about Best Buy, they tend to love exclusive colors to offer in their stores. According to the sources at 9to5Google, the gold special edition of the Nexus 6P will soon be available to purchases in the US. The gold edition has been exclusive to Japan since it was launched. It is very possible that the gold version could launch in the US as a Best Buy exclusive. Many are speculating that this information will become official at a Huawei press announcement on January 5, 2015. The special edition is already listed on the Google Store, so it may be available for purchase online sometime in the future as well. I’m definitely looking forward to picking up a gold Nexus 6P if possible. Anyone else want some hands-on time with the 6P before making your final decision on this phone?

I fell in love with Android with the Nexus One release and realized that it was superior to iOS in all the ways I care about. I still use a Mac (and an iPhone for the camera), but my Apple tech products pale in comparison to my number of Android devices (watches, tablets, and phones).
