This week the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE is making people run out of breath by uttering its name. But aside from that, the watch is also making its debut here in the US. AT&T put the watch up for preorder last Friday, with watches shipping to customers already. At AT&T you can expect to pay $199 on contract or $299 off contract with a required $10 per month access fee to add the watch to your plan. The watch can also be financed for $15 a month over 20 months.
Today Verizon announced that they will also carry the Urbane 2nd Edition…LTE, with preorders beginning tomorrow November 12. Verizon’s pricing for the watch is set at $449 on a 2 year contract or $499 off contract, ouch! Why Verizon has priced the watch so much higher than AT&T, I have no idea. On the bright side, you will only pay $5 a month to add the watch to your Verizon data plan, but this still doesn’t make up for the $200 price jump off contract.
Only the US and Korea will get the watch in November. LG says that other markets in Europe, Asian, and the Commonwealth of Independent States will get the watch in the coming months. If for some reason you want to pay the outrageous price Verizon is asking, hit the link below to check out their release info!
