Chase Comes to Samsung Pay+$100 Coupon for Signing Up!

Samsung Pay initially launched a few months back with pretty limited card support. One of the biggest omissions in the US was Chase. Today Samsung finally announced that Chase has joined the Samsung Pay family, and you can begin adding your Chase branded cards right away! In addition to this huge new addition, Samsung has also added support for Citizens Equity First Credit Union, Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union, Security Service Federal Credit Union, State Employees’ Credit Union, SunTrust and Virginia Credit Union. These smaller regional institutions coming on board is a great sign for the future of mobile payments, and Samsung Pay in particular.

The good news doesn’t stop there. Samsung also announced a $100 coupon promotion for those that activate the Samsung Pay app and register a compatible card from 11/23/15-11/30/15. This deal is definitely better than the previous free wireless charger promotion, and should allow some pretty great savings to be had. One thing to note is that the coupon can only be used on Samsung’s online store from 12/15/15-12/31/15 and is limited to 50,000 units. If you plan to take advantage of this offer, definitely get your submission in soon! Let us know in the comments what you plan to use your $100 credit for!

"I am currently a researcher and Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University. I fell in love with Android with the Nexus One release and realized that it was superior to iOS in all the ways I care about. I still use a Mac (and an iPhone for the camera), but my Apple tech products pale in comparison to my number of Android devices (watches, tablets, and phones). When I’m not rooting/modding one of my many Android phones or doing math/programming, you can find me taking in Phoenix Suns/Arizona Diamondbacks games in downtown Phoenix, and drinking good beer!"
