Project Fi Sending Free Holiday Gift to Subscribers!

If you’re a current Project Fi subscriber, you should expect an extra holiday gift this season from the good people at Google. Some users over at Android Central reported earlier today that they received a package from Project Fi with a container of Lego building blocks and a USB Type-C cable. In addition to the gifts, there is also a holiday card included in the package which thanks customers for being a part of Fi.

There is now a Project Fi support article detailing the 2015 holiday gift program. If you were a part of Fi on or before November 8 and activated by November 19, then your gift will ship to your address on file on November 19. If you ordered a device or sim on November 9 or after, then your gift will ship to the same address as your sim/device. The article also confirms that only users that ordered a Nexus 5X or 6P through Project Fi will receive the USB Type-C cable. The Lego blocks in the package can be used to build a sweet looking phone stand for your Nexus device.

I am currently a Fi subscriber so I am awaiting my package, and I’ll update the article with some more pics when I receive it. Let us know in the comments if you received one of these care packages!

"I am currently a researcher and Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University. I fell in love with Android with the Nexus One release and realized that it was superior to iOS in all the ways I care about. I still use a Mac (and an iPhone for the camera), but my Apple tech products pale in comparison to my number of Android devices (watches, tablets, and phones). When I’m not rooting/modding one of my many Android phones or doing math/programming, you can find me taking in Phoenix Suns/Arizona Diamondbacks games in downtown Phoenix, and drinking good beer!"
