Samsung Galaxy S7 to Release March 11 in US?

After a fairly slows news week in Android, we appear to be off to a fast start to the weekend in the last 24 hours. Earlier I told you about the LG G5 prototype leaks. Next up we have news regarding the Galaxy S7 release date. Famed leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) posted a simple tweet detailing the rumored US launch:

We don’t really know much else, but Evan has a pretty solid track record with Samsung leaks, even if some of his other OEM data has been inaccurate for some launches past. While Samsung has not yet sent out an official press invite for MWC 2016, we certainly expect one to come soon. This rumored date would put the launch about three weeks after the initial announcement. Stay tuned here to HOA News for further information about the S7 announcement and launch!

"I am currently a researcher and Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University and Grand Canyon University. I fell in love with Android with the Nexus One release and realized that it was superior to iOS in all the ways I care about. I still use a Mac (and an iPhone for the camera), but my Apple tech products pale in comparison to my number of Android devices (watches, tablets, and phones). When I’m not rooting/modding one of my many Android phones or doing math/programming, you can find me taking in Phoenix Suns/Arizona Diamondbacks games in downtown Phoenix, and drinking good beer!"
